A Sensory Experience 

This interactive module will assist participants to understand more about sensory therapy and the importance of sustaining and maintaining sensory stimulation appropriate to individual needs. Participants will experience demonstrations of effective engagement and explore appropriate use of sensory therapy tools and programming specific to the individual.

ATTENDEES WILL:

  • Discuss the principles of sensory therapy
  • Explain how and why we use sensory therapy
  • Interpret suitability of participants
  • Select and use appropriate equipment and space

DURATION: 2 hours

PARTICIPANTS: Suitable session for Registered nurses, Enrolled nurses Lifestyle & Leisure, Care Workers, Ancillary staff, Occupational Therapists, and Physio Therapists.
